It most be GREAT for gaming and movies, and it can't completely suck for music. I want virtual or true surround. The microphone must sound clear. It is for use with a laptop so it must be either USB or just 2 3.5mm jacks (one for mic one for speakers). My absolute max is $150 but lower is better. Logitech G35 and Sennheiser PC166 are the front runners right now. Go.

Oh, and I like the around the ears type.
 
well the best of the best would be beyerdnamic gaming headphones with their simulated 5.1 surround sound amp. but its like $1500+ lol so i would go with an astro mixamp and some nice music headphones (akg 240's sennheiser hd550's) for the best sound quality, while if u want true surround sound go with tritton ax pros. they are INCREDIBLE for gaming as they clearly produce accurate directional sound. unfortunatley, the use of 8 smaller drivers instead of 2 large ones, sound quality in music is lacking, but in games like call of duty black ops while using optical out is very good. also turtle beach makes true surround sound headphones, but they use an analog 5.1 connection. not sure on quality.
