Looking for a good water cooling system

Ok, so i have run air cooling now for several months with my new system. I was just kind of toying around with the idea of possibly moving to water cooling, but i really have no knowledge in the area. I did a little research on my own, mainly on the cooler master aqua gate system. It looks like that doesnt have much more effect than the air cooling system i already have installed.

I was just wondering what all in one water cooling kits you guys recommend for someone just starting to get an interest in the water cooling arena. I would also like to note that any suggestions should be around $200 or less and need to somehow attach to the case, i dont want any of these systems that you have to lug around seperately from the rest of the system.

Thanks, i'm sure this has been asked before, but for anyone wondering the same thing, this might answer some questions for others in my same position.

I was in your same boat around March of this year.....and well, I have been reading lots on this forum about it, and there is a lot to swallow, but I just started piecing together an AC system from users of the forum. Picking components as I understand what I am trying to accomplish with each part. Just read, there is stupid amounts of aweome information on here about it.

Honestly, the best route to go would be to craft your own system by selecting the parts individually.

For under $200, and as a first timers kit, I would recommend the swiftech 120 premium kit. If you shop around one can be had for about ~175 or so.

Good luck!

Petra has some very nice kits available on his site to purchase... They arent the cheap thermaltake type kits, he puts together a pack of some of the better individual components out there. it will also come with a rad box so you can mount the radiator easily without having to cut up your case.

although i tend to agree that putting together your own kit would be best. research as much as possible and plan out your system... it will pay off in the end

Im interested in the swiftech 120, it peeked my interest lol. Where does that mount exactly. I dont want anything that isnt attached to the computer because i do a lot of LAN parties and moving around from game competition to game competition so i can't have anything extra that needs to be lugged around, and if it was mounted internally that would be a bonus because then no tubes would be external that could get cut or damaged.

Also, what is a good GPU block and non-conducting coolant that you can use for this system? I dont want to use anything that can spill and fry stuff.

the swiftech premium 120 can mount internally. it has a 120.1 radiator that can be used where a 120mm fan would mount.

it comeswith a rad box that can be used to mount the rad outside the back of the case.

I have looked at these kits and they look really good compaired to alot of "kits" i built my own out of Forum used parts and new parts..... so look around and see what you can price up.

a DD TDX you can get for $30 used in the FS forum.....

BIP360 $29.99 http://www.directron.com/icepro3.html Good even thought the BIP GTS os much better for $200 you have to cut prices some where and this is still a good rad.

These fans: http://jab-tech.com/YATE-LOON-120mm-Case-Fan-D12SL-12-pr-3009.html $3.99 and are good fans lots of people around here use them and they are the right CFM for the BIP series of Rads...

Pump: but used on the forum.... DD D5 or the swiftech one or a laing DCC are two good pumps .... new they are both about $75 or more so if you get one for less you are doing good.

get some tubing of the forum and use a t-line

should be all set with this, run distilled water and add some water wetter or petras has a concentraite of petosine that is cheap and works well and is a cool blue color.....
