Title says it all.

My gf is getting cable service this week and refuses to pay anymore towards the rental of Comcast's equipment.

I've been out of the loop for awhile (as far as networking goes) but offered to help her find a good but reasonably priced setup.

Any suggestions?

Preferably it would be easier to have the actual combo of the two devices into one setup, rather than purchasing a mode and wireless router separately.

I've had great experience with Linksys in the past and from what I remember, Motorola makes some great modems.

Thanks in advance.

I should have probably stressed the "good but REASONABLE" part of my query.

The wireless router you guys are suggesting alone is $135+...the two I suggested would run roughly $50...

I'd say no more than $60 for the two devices.

You said "looking for a GOOD..."

The Motorolas rock...you can find them for under 60 bucks on eBay, brand new still in a shrink wrapped box.

I see soooo many complaints from people who end up getting Stinksys and DStink cable modems....how they don't get the "boost" speed packages that their cable ISP has, like Comcast PowerBoost.

That wrt120n is not draft-n certified...it's their cheapest router, single stream
