looking for a good beginner guide for over clocking

finally getting a system where i'll actually get to play with some settings. Im pretty good at building and maintaining pcs, but have never delved into this because i couldnt afford it. Was hoping someone would know a good guide or two that could get me going, explain all the acronyms and basically give me some do's and don'ts. Know you probably get asked this alot, but there are tons of posts to wade through and i was hoping for a shortcut cuz im lazy and times a factor for me. 14 hours days suck. thanks in advance guys, oh and btw if i get the reply where it redirects me to google and runs a search im gonna laugh
 
need more information on the actual system to better help you if the links NoOther posted aren't the ones you need.
