Looking for a good 23"-24" display

For some reason there is quite the lack of monitor review sites out there and I'm having trouble picking out a a good one.

I'm looking to spend around $250-$400 and want around 23"-25"

I'll be doing a lot of gaming and web browsing but not much moving watching.

Anyone have some ideas?
