Looking for a Display

I'm looking for a display, somewhere in the range of 24-26", on which I can play both PC games and a Playstation 3. So, it would need both a DVI and an HDMI connection. I'm not sure if there is much (if any) difference between 720p and 1080p at that size, but I would like the Playstation 3 games to scale well on what would most likely be a native resolution of 1920x1200. I'd like to keep my budget at or below $400, but if that isn't possible, I might go a little higher.

Preferably, it should have a solid contrast ratio and a response time of 5ms or lower (due to gaming). I play PC games like CoD5 and Crysis (from time to time), but I don't expect to get a playable frame-rate with decent settings in the latter with my current setup, being:

512mb 8800gt
e8400 @ 3.6ghz
xp 32bit
4 gb ddr2 800

I currently play multi player with whatever settings are necessary to achieve 125 FPS, but I do enjoy playing with both a decent frame-rate and graphics in single player. Unless a 1920x1200 resolution would really kill my 8800gt, I would prefer the resolution so that the PS3 looks good. I'm willing to settle with a 22" monitor with a 1680 x 1050 resolution so long as the PS3 looks good through the HDMI connection (if anyone has any experience, please share). I've looked at the Samsung T220HD, but the price seems a bit steep for a 22".

Another monitor I've been considering is the Vizio VMM26; the price seems reasonable, but the bluish hue as well as the highly glossy (reflective) screen shown in the pictures worry me.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with a display that fits my needs and if anyone could make some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I've also been looking at the BenQ G2400WD. This seems like a solid monitor for a reasonable price. I noticed that it was on sale for just under $300 at Newegg recently; I was wondering if it is likely to reach that price again any time soon.

Thanks.

You can get it $359 from BenQ store free ship too.

I'll consider it, thank you. At this point I'm willing to wait a bit for that Newegg <$300 sale to possibly resurface, though.

Just to be clear: I need an HDCP-compliant monitor for it to display a Playstation 3, correct? This makes things more expensive and really limits my options, but I suppose that the options could be worse.

Both G2400wd and V2400W are all 1080P and HDCP comliant. I have V2400W for more than 4 moths, and very pleased.

I'd pay the extra $$ at the BenQ store just so I didn't have to put up with Neweggs dead pixel policy. lol
