Thought I would just ask a quick question, my g/f would like a photo printer for her birthday in a few weeks. She is crazy about scrap booking so it will come in handy to shoot of a photo or two every once and awhile. I’ve been leaning towards the Epson PictureMate Dash. Do any of you have any other suggestions? Quality is #1 but price/print is also important.

Thanks!

Epson printers are good, also I would recommend the Hp PhotoSmart D7400 series.

You probably don't want to hear this but I think you should convince her not to get one. You pay out the ass for ink and digital prints are so commonplace now you can get pictures done at your local drugstore. Just my 2 cents.

If she can wait a few days for the pictures I recommend kodakgallery.com because it will be more cost effective and probably better prints too.

shes only going to use it every once and awhile, if she needs a dozen photos or so she will be sending them to Walgreen's to pick them up, this is only intended as a band aid of sorts to hold her over until she orders more photos.
