I'm looking for a videocard that will play games today, decently.

I was looking at a 256MB version of the popular GeForce FX 5600 Ultra (normally 128MB)
http://www.imagestore.us/product.asp?pf_id=HY-FX5600Ultra&dept_id=06-005

And I was also looking at an ATI 9600 Pro 256MB version
http://www.imagestore.us/product.asp?pf_id=HY-A96pro-256&dept_id=06-001

Which would be a better card, and if they are shit, please tell me a better one for around $150 or under. Thanks a lot for any help and suggestions.

BTW, this is to upgrade my overclocked GeForce4 Ti 4200

the 256MB on both those cards are useless as both cards arent powerful enough to take advatage of it, a 128MB will do just as good

the 9800 pro 128mb(256bit) kicks the shit out of both, and has dipped down to 170 at times. But I think it is still goin for around 190-200 commonly

I would wait untell the Geforce 6600 has a AGP version, but if not I would wait untell the 6800 Goes a little bit down in price, I've heard there are going to be some new cards on the market around Christmas, so maby it will drop down to your price range. Also if I had to pick one of those cards I would pick the Geforce 5600 Ultra because the performance differance is almost nothing, and nvidia has better drivers for playing *Cough* Emulated* Cough Games.
