supposed to be a really good guide to computers. supposedly written by the same guy that runs a major techie website. cant rmemeber the name or author or site, any suggestions?
 
can you specify a little more what you are looking to learn, there are about a billion and a half books about computers out there
 
I have no idea what you are talking about, but Upgrading and Repairing PCs has always been a wonderful guide.
 
nvm i found the book and heard its bad. I am looking for a good book to be used as a refresher on for upgrading/troubleshooting PC's. Just would be used as a reference and in case i encounter somethign i dont know
