Looking for a cheat remote for XBMC

Looking around for a cheap remote and not finding any that look good for the price. I heard something about an itouch app that would allow you to use it as a trackpad but then I would have to buy a touch.

Cheap, decent, good enough for me. Some reviews says it doesn't work with XBMC, but who knows. They could have fixed that by now.

the normal MCE remote is good. ebay is your friend.

also there is the streamzap remote control that is usually sub $25.


Hipporemote is a good easy and intuitive iPhone app for controlling a HTPC.

Any news on a remote that could double as a keyboard? Or even a remote in the shape of a crackberry with a nub would be awsome.

You won't find a 'cheap' remote like that. You should throw out a price of what you are looking for.

I have this remote and it works for Windows Media Center. Would something like this work with a TV Tuner though? I am trying to figure out if I just need to buy the card or both the card and a remote. I will probably just do everything through Win7 MC, since a lot of people have been saying they have had good luck with it.

I don't think it'll work for a TV if that's what you meant. But a TV Tuner card in your PC, It should work just fine, I'm fairly sure that's what it was mainly made for.

That would work perfectly. The misses is going to love the fact that I can toss the keyboard into a drawer now instead of having it under the tv. Even if it only delivers half of the distance promised it will be better than the 2 feet I get on my wireless mouse/keyboard right now.
