Hey, i am currently looking for a cheap, yet sutable, receiver. It will only be 2.0 when (if, i hope) i get it, but will be adding a sub and surrounds and center later on. I am on a fairly tight budget, probably $150 max for just the receiver, preferably less, but i know quallity means price, and i do want quallity.......Also, what speakers should i get with it? I am looking at some polks or athenas right now, but any recomendations would be welcome. Oh and by the way, where is a good place to look at and buy this kind of audio equipment online? Thanks for any help!

shoponkyo.com has some good deals on refurbs. the 503 is a great little entry level receiver that would last you a while, but it is at the $200 price point I think. The 303 is usually under $150. As for speakers, I have Athena and am very happy with the cost/performance ratio. Keep an eye out on outpost.com and you can get the polk R15 bookshelf speakers for $50 a pair often.
