Hey guys, I'm looking for a case and have no idea what to get since there are 100's of choices out there. Heres a quick rundown of what I need/want:

Need:

6 (or more) 3.5 hard drive slots ( i have 4 3.5 hdd's now and want 2 more, i also have 1 ssd currently zip tied inside my case haha )

Great air cooling

Big enough to handle any video card I decide to eventually get.

Decent wire management (not super picky since i dont sleeve or anything fancy, I just tuck stuff out of the way)

USB 3.0

Durable (i will probably bring it to work with me once or twice a month)

Don't want a bunch of annoying LED's, so they must be non existent or easy to turn off or remove

These are not quite as important, but would be nice:

Lightweight (aluminum?)

A handle?

Quiet

Prefer a plain/standard look and not some goofy transformer looking thing

Max price of around 150$, prefer less obviously ;)

Just note that with alot of NZXT cases, You have to use their fans, As other fans may or maynot mount (I know their 200mm red fan they just released wont fit my 650d 200mm front).

Just the NZXT 200mm fans are not the same as others, For NZXT i would say get the source 210 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...rder=BESTMATCH&Description=source+210&x=0&y=0 There are a lot o good cases now that have decent cable management and air flow for cheap all that you need now is to find one you like the looks of.

Of course you would, Your a NZXT rep...:p

Go for the corsair 600T :)

The NZXT Phantom doesnt even have USB3.0 ;)

No, Its not very light, But neither is the phantom. I've owned the phantom and well, As you can tell by sig, I dont own it anymore ;)

NZXT Source 210 has 8 bays AND LOW COST.
BitFenix has the Shobi, and, with a handle the Survivor.
Cooler Master 690 advanced?

I had a CM692 and it still was a bit of a hassle to haul to our Lan Parties. If being lightweight is the biggest concern, then I can only recommend Lian Li cases. An Antec 200 series is pretty bland, and cheap.

Do you plan on having a SLI or Crossfire setup?

Very, very hard to get 1 without the other.
Only way to get airflow with silence is either to buy better fans, use a fan controller, or get a case with a door. In that regard I would say the R3 (I love mine) but it doesn't have front USB3.

So ~ I'd then say the Arc Midi. Ridiculous price for the feature set IMHO. Includes a fan controller even. ;) Review @ TPU

Very impressed with my R3....build quality is on par with Lian Li IMO (looking aside the plastic bits here or there but then again a lot of LL's have plastic now too, so meh ).

You're going to have a hard time getting an aluminum case for that price range, unless you get one of the "cheaper" Lian Li's in the $100-$150 range. Given the features of the Fractal (compared to your wants/needs), I honestly wouldn't consider anything else. Tons of fan spots, rubber grommeted cable management holes, black interior, holds 8 drives, good looks.

These Chieftec Dragon cases are very light.

I had that exact same green one and it was all aluminum. Very light. Your Antec was probably steel.

I got the 600T black, But after looking MORE at the SE, Its making wonder if I got the wrong one :)

Should I send it back and get the SE.....LOL
