Hey im looking for a 27" monitor for my new gaming rig. the max ill spend before taxes is $300. and I want the resiloution to be 2560 x 1440.
 
You are going to need to sacrifice something (e.g. move to 1920 x 1080 resolution) OR increase your budget.
