I ordered 2 maxtor drives, 7K series.. 500 GB SATA II. I was wondering if there as a cheap enclosure kit (under $100) that i could possibly RAID 0 them together and have the option to use USB 2.0 as the external connection. I'm going to plug this into a HD media player.

I don't think what you need exists, adn if it does it'll be more than $100.
Another thing to consider is that RAID0 will saturate USB ( I think ) so that'd be kinda silly.

Some NAS setups do raid like that and a Gb network could handle the bandwidth, but it's definatly more than $100.

I purchased one of those from the 'egg. great buy if you're looking for storage, bandwidth limited to the usb2.0 interface only. but its got jumper settings on it that will let you JBOD all 4 disks, 2 disks + 2 disks, or 3disks with one lone disk. or whatever. I filled mine with 2x500 gigs and 2x250 gigs for 1.5 TB (advertised) of space, JBOD as one partition, so windows sees just one massive drive. AMS systems back a few solutions that i have used in the past and work flawlesly.

This is about $19 above 100, and it does raid. did you not read the product specs?

I did read them, yes. But your first post specified under $100, so I didn't post here and mention it because it didn't meet the criteria. The reason I mentioned the one above is it doesn't meet the criteria either (in that it's not doing raid 0), but it's $30 cheaper.
