im looking to buy one, my crt is on the frits so i need one soon

i dont really want to spend a lot, im thinking under $230 for the best 17 inch i can find

i was looking into this one

for well, the 12ms responce time
500:1 contrast ration
and well, DVI

but now i think those are the things i should be looking into? i dont know jack about monitors

so just a few questions
is dvi worth getting? (yes my graphics card supports it, fx 5500)
what other tech specs are important (angles?)

is that a good deal for that monitor and/or are there any other ones better then that for a cheaper price
