So the case standoffs included with my case are .25 inches (not including the thread). However for purposes of clearance on a E-ATX board, I need a couple more mm of space, so longer standoffs. Can anyone point me to a newegg or amazon link with such.

Aren't longer standoffs going to make it so stuff doesn't line up properly at the back of the case?

Yes. Doh!

Try using a single small washer. That would get you about 1mm which shouldn't throw off the read IO plate and expansion slots enough to cause an issue.

try your local fastenall

or try stuffing some washers between the standoffs and the chassis

Thats the issue Im trying to fix. I mistakenly assumed a full tower case has enough room for a extended atx case. Turns out NOPE. The E-ATX MB im trying to purchase is 10.39. Screw holes match up. but the extension on the right side (the side close to the 5.25 bays) has 3 2 inch metal tray contacting with the back of the pcb.

The current standoffs that came with the Case are (not including the thread) are 6.35 mm. I purchased 12mm standoff (apparently the seller mislabled the height with the thread). Im now looking at either using some paper washes on the existing standoffs, or use a 8mm standoff.

So far my testing has found.

1) With the original 6.35 mm standoffs, the furthest left port on the I/O shield does appear to full hide the standoff.
2) With three washers that approximate to about 0.06 inches or about 1.65mm the top of the standoff i believe slightly intrudes into the furthest left port on the i/o shield.

Stuck between a hard place and rock LOL.

The other option is to cut the that particular area off the case, which without a dremel is basically not an option.

ARGHHHHH.

After that hammer, my next post will probably be why did I listen to my fellow [H] members and now need a new case in the WTB section lol

You already need a new case. And your next thread may be "Oops I thought having a spare 1mm from these standoffs was good enough, but I just fried my motherboard when it shorted out on the case". I've seen this story play out a few times.
