Long term Stability in shuttles.

I was looking into building an athlon 64 shuttle, i would get the 250w ps but i was wondering if it would 1. be strong enough to power my 6800GT OC. and 2. would it run cool enough to remain on for days/weeks (sometimes) at a time. The 6800GT is overclocked to Ultra speeds. anyway i was just wondering if anyone has done this or knows enough about it to help me out.

I'm running the SN95G5 and my system is running rock solid; it's in my sig below. I'm running the stock PSU in mine and I have the X800 XT and I have NO power issues. One thing you might want to look into is cooling options. For example my SN95G5 has the video card sitting right next to the side panels. The side panels don't provide very good cooling at all so I purchased the after market panels; the ones with the air vents/mesh on the sides.

I'd suggest picking out a SFF case that you want. Then what I'd do is go to http://sfftech.com and see if there are any cooling issues/complaints with the system you're looking at getting. Some people complain about the SN95G5 due to it's lack in well thought out cooling; however I wouldn't let this discourage your decision just because there is a work around/something else you can do in order to make it better.

I've been running a BFG 6800GT OC in my SN45G since the day it was released back in August. Not a single crash or lockup, and this is with the stock 200W supply. I'm also running an XP-M at 3200+ (200x11), 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, DVD Burner, Intel gigabit card. Runs like a champ. Max power draw from the wall is 180W, or about 130W when you figure in the supply efficieny.
