Anybody getting looooooong load times here? Especially image heavy threads like the political meme thread, but even normal txt only pages are taking much longer than usual to load.......
 
yes, for the last few days. thought it was me at home until i ran into at work today. some pages just spin and spin, some ill refresh and they pop right up. sometimes relaunching my browser smartens it up for 10-15min..
(tried clearing cache, logging out/in, different browsers, the usual TSing)

edit: like this, just happened. i opened a new tab and the site popped right up while the other was still spinning. it timed out and just gave me that black page. hit refresh and it popped right up.

I'm not experiencing it myself, but I suspect it could be Cloudflare again having intermittent timeouts for some regions.
 
It's been intermittent for me for eh, two days? To me it's less long load times but rather, a couple of minutes, once every hour or two, the forum hangs. When I come back later, everything's normal.
 
forum has been fine all day at work and for the last 30min or so at home, but it just started acting goofy.
these two pics took a couple minutes to upload and then the page stopped responding. closed and reopened my browser(edge) and its back to normal...
that doesnt seem like that many and was about what it was last night when this thread was started.

I haven't really had any issues with page load times. Maybe once or twice, took a bit longer, but nothing serious. Not recently either.

So the lag isn't related to AI bots, as this is just a normal online user count.

i try to catch it for you, but most of the time that would snap it out of it, so i might not get it.

thats what i thought, didnt look that high at all.
 
getting hit bad with slowness today. i took a vid but its too big, took 25 seconds to load this thread...
tried multiple browsers, flushed cache etc.
when i hit post, it cycled and cycled that "progress strip" at the top and then failed after ~30sec and sat here, then "a new post" strip popped up and showed my post while this window was still sitting here.
 
Yeah, I haven't been having any issues recently.

it seems back to normal now but this is what i was getting

tried to attach a vid but its not working, gif will do. it lasted about an hour.
