Long DVI cables

Would a 30ft DVI cable be OK as long as it's a quality one?

Also, would a DVI-D cable work for connecting a computer to a Westinghouse HDTV monitor?

I have a 15' DVI to HDMI cable that goes from my computer to my Sceptre LCD TV. Works great. 30' shouldn't be a problem if, like you said, the cable is decent quality. I don't think I'd want to go any longer than that though...

I've got a 25' hooked up from my computer to my Westy 37", and it looks perfect as far as I can see. I'm sure 30' won't be a problem.
