I'm kinda browsing the intel processors right now. I've honestly never owned one so I know NOTHING about them, and I also know nothing about dual core processing, so please bare with me.
Why does a single core 3.0 ghz chip cost so much less than a dual core chip that is rated at like 1.6 so much more. yes, I understand it has two cores.. but is it that much more efficient?
even documentation on this stuff would be nice so I can read about it. thanks!
