Considering they are talking about C2Q and Core i7, i guess they are talking about Phenom's breaking the 3GHz... But yes, they should have double checked the article :)

Yeah, I figured the same, but then it should have been 'the day the phenom 2 went over 3.0 GHz'...lol. Otherwise, AMD went over 3 GHz back in August '07
