well, i stopped folding on my gaming pc and my laptop a few months ago, i reformatted them and never installed the program since. but, maybe some of you recall i made a thread awhile back, or at least i posted in a thread asking a question on how to fold on a computer when your not logged in, i wanted to do that on my family pc, aka an emachine with a 2.8ghz celeron that my bro only uses for aim and music and basic internet. well i checked my folding stats and they have increased since and have shown activity in the past seven days. i have been folding ever since! i thought that was pretty cool and i think my score doubled since i "stopped"

pretty sweet and i am so happy that i re installed the non console version on my laptop again that runs 24/7.

What about your gaming PC? You could run standard units that take less than 20 megs of RAM and fold while you game.:D

well, i suppose i could leave my pc on from when i wake up to when i go to bed and let it use 100% cpu. you know what, i'll do that right now and report back

yah, leaving this thing on when i'm sleeping? hell nah! that's why i let my laptop stay on because it makes no noise :p

I'd get the console version..it's much more efficient and less prone to crashing or screwing stuff up. Post here if you need help setting it up...or you could google for help as well.

nah, no console this time. i am using the console on the emachine and haven't logged in in months and yet it's still folding. hehe so sweet. but, i will stick to the graphical version as it's easier to set up and read w/o that other program thing. :)

Well..alright...but my experiences with the console held me back from team 33. I folded for UD for 9-10 months because the graphical version kept crashing my games or programs. However, once i discovered the console version...

Maybe you'll have better luck, least you're still folding.

I will second the console over the graphical on a gameing rig.
Yes its more hassle to set up and its harder to see whats happening without EMIII.
But it wont crash games like the graphical one can do on the very odd occasion.
There is a very slight possibility of an OpenGL driver conflict useing it.

Plus:_
I wake up if there is a power cut as it gets too quite.
I've 7 duelies running in a two room cottage.

Luck.......:D
