On my logon screen i see my user name and my user picture. i want it so its invisible and only visible when i highlight it with my mouse. how do i do this?

ok on the login screen when u boot up and u enter in your password it has you user name and your user picture. when i dont click it i still see the user name and picture. i want it where the user name and picture is invisible until i click it. if you cant understand that mabey some1 in here can exokain it better if they know what im talking about.
