frist of all, some hardware information.
speakers: logitech z640
soundcard: audigy 2 D480 (i bought it as OEM, but it has firewire port)
im just wondering if i cracked my speakers or something. occuationally, i would hear "hiss" or "crackles" coming from the front left speaker. i even tried to change the balance and fade all the way from that speaker so no sound should be produced on the problem one. even with that, the crackles presists unless i unplug the connection.
this problem happened to the rear 2 speakers not a while ago, but somehow it went away after a while. now the problem seems to be the front 2 speakers now.
this problem especially noticeable in the movies (divx and dvd) but it is also detactable with mp3s.
what should i do about this? i just bought the speakers from amazon less than 2 months ago. (RMA or return still possible?)
edit: thanks in advance for any help or suggestions
