Logitech Z623 Connection question. RCA or 3.5mm?

Getting some static in my Z623, guessing its the crappy 3.5mm cable it comes with. Would I get better sound using the 2 RCA inputs on the subwoffer instead of the 3.5mm conection? Connecting it to my X-fi soundcard. Should I get a 3.5mm to RCA adapter or stick with the 3.5mm to 3.5mm?

Back in stock on 2/18/11 or you could buy a 3 or 10 foot cable and get it now. The 10ft cable is only .16 more than the 6 footer.

I got the 10ft cable. Thanks for the link/info. Heavy gague cable for the price!!! cant beat it. It put the thin 3.5mm cable to shame!
