Well my friend brought this bass test cd over, i poped it in the cd and it started playing it was very low sounding so i moved the volume nob up a little nob wasnt even half way on the little logitech controler and in windows the wave nob was all the way up and the main slider was little below half all while the logitech volume not was a little under half way. To my amazement the speaker did its little cracking thing for about 1/3 of a second bc it scared me and i turned it down pretty fast. Well the speakers still work but for some reason when i try to turn the bass up it starts to distort(sp?). The more you turn the bass up in windows the more it will distort but if you play the music as a lower volume or turn the bass just about off it sounds fine. So did the speakers blow or what?
