Logitech Z5300e vs Z2300

Just wondering how these two compare. I am looking for a good set mostly for music and games. Are z2300 that much better that would justify going for a 2.1 set instead of 5.1. I am leaning towards z5300 as they are 5.1. Want to hear some opinions.
