Just ordered these from NE. Should get them Monday. Replacing a trusty Creative 5700 Inspire after 3 years of heavy duty usage . Gonna use them with my new Audigy 2 ZS and was wondering if anyone has them. By the way, I noticed that there is a Z-5300, without the "e" designation, anybody know the difference between the two systems? tia :)

I think it's just the color and design are the differences

make sure to hang onto your receipt, if you catch my drift ;)

RSX is right, it's just color differences

I've had mine for about a month now, great set of speakers

I like mine a lot, Im starting to tweak my sound settings with Foobar and Kernal Streaming and it sounds great with my Audigy 2. These speakers seem to be very directional meaning if the speakers aren't pointed at you, they won't sound as great. So position those speakers as well as you can and they'll sound awesome.

it's totally a placebo effect. speakers like that won't benefit from kernal streaming, or even the a2 that much.

yeah I've been hearing that a lot, but I played the same song using Foobar and Winamp and to me, I can totally hear a difference. Maybe it's because I don't have winamp configured right with the same equalizer setting or what not and it's not apples to apples comarison, but I like Foobar better with KS.

Ha ha. Ordered them from Newegg so I gotta keep them and since I like them alot, thats exactly what I'm gonna do. Vastly superior to the old set in music reproduction and my gaming experience sonically has improved two fold. Me likey :)
