I just got my Logitech Z-680s'... just have a quick question regarding the satellite arrangement. In the Booklet that came with it, it says to have the rear speakers the same distance apart as the fron speakers. Now, do I have to do that... or is that just for the hardcore surround extremist?

My back wall is about 11-12 feet away from my fron speakers. So, will it really matter that much?

Thanks!! :D

That all depends on the acoustics of the room. I'm no audiophile but my rears are a good ten feet away from the fronts and I notice no problems. But I do game with my Zalman surround headphones the speakers are just for movies and music.

Just arrange them as far apart as your bedroom permits. The booklet is just showing how to get optimum sound out of the speakers...
