What does it mean when the owner says that the Logitech Z 680s comes with everything except the 1/8 audio wires..that they got rid of them because they use optical connection instead.


What were the 1/8 audio wires used for? and would the speakers work if I plugged them into my sound card?
 
The 1/8" stereo minijacks were used to connect the analog outs from a sound card to the speakers.
Make the seller replace them cause you will need them. ;)
 
what if the seller does not replace them?

could I get these 1/8 audio jacks at the stores and connect them to the speakers myself?
