Hey guys, I am getting a new set of speakers from logitech and I want to know if I can incorperate the 2 680 systems together with only one pod. I noticed that the pod connects to the subwoofer through a VGA cable, so I was thinking that I could just get a VGA spliter and another cable to hook both subwoofers to the same pod. I think that it would work the only thing that worries me is that double the power would be going to the pod and I think it would fry it. So if I take the amp off of one of the subs is there a wire that I can remove from the VGA cable?

Thanks Guys

It's a serial cable, not VGA.

Although I guess it's theoretically POSSIBLE, I don't know why you'd want to do this. You can't encode in 10.2 sound or anything. The only effect you'd get is having two speakers in every spot in a 5.1 arrangement, which isn't going to sound any better. Maybe it'd be cool to surround yourself in speakers for music listening, but there are better options than buying two $250 Z680 sets for that. Maybe what you're trying to do is use one pod to control two separate setups within the same room (i.e. one computer, one TV). If that's the case, the extra pod isn't really all that big and you might as well just hook it up.

Since the serial cable is attached to the second pod, and you don't seem to mind futzing around with it, give it a shot. I'm just not really sure what you're shooting for though.

/waits for Crutsy to come back with something uber and pwn me.

I have 2 z680's but i split the audio cable into two so i could run one of the z680 systems in the basement for our parties... hehe Thats not quite what you are looking for but its fun nonetheless!
