i found a good deal on these. they're 130$ CND flat. im not an audiophile, just looking for the best bang for the buck and thought these are real nice, after reading many reviews. but i havent researched on any other speakers yet.

what you guys think?

I just ordered them..., will try to remember to tell you how they turn out... :)

I havem, and I likem. Compared to my old monsoons, the bass is all around better if a bit loud(it's adjustable, so unless you want especially light bass it's fine imo), the lower midrange is a huge improvement, while overall sharpness of the sound is lessened just slightly.

I really like them though, better than any monsoons I've heard, better than any Klipsch (I've not listened to the ultras, but 5.1's do not interest me on the pc), and better than any Altecs (I haven't listened to the new MX-501's, but they were almost 2x the price. They aren't a miracle or anything, but bang for the buck they are impressive!
