Just curious i have a home theatre pc setup and i have a crappy home theatre in a box by jvc which looking at regular dvds the jvc home theatre in a box seems like it doesnt upscale compare to the htpc. now i only use it for the speaker setup which is decent at best but after time i start hearing a weird feedback sounds like rumbling and it gets louder as time goes on. I have a 5.1 sound logitech speakers for pc laying around and never even used it, would it be better to set that up for my sounds instead of the home theatre in a box crap i have?

I have the following:

sharp 42 inch aquos
htpc
xbox 360

those are the only real things i need to hook up to sound as all movies and such will play back thru the htpc now not the home theatre in a box jvc system. Any suggestions gladly appreciated. Oh one more thing i understand it wont be the best setup but i just needed a quick fix for now.
