Im about to purchase the X-530's is there any reason i should turn back now? need advice quick, thanks ;)

For $50, they are decent speakers. - Only advice is "buy better speakers if you've got more money"
 
Headphone jack is not amped (you control the volume through windows/soundcard)
and subwoofer control is on the back of the sub (this is minor).

But good choice for price. You can always buy better with more money, but I'm using these and find that they are great bang for the buck.

I myself have been looking at JBL Creature II speakers as well as these so...
 
For anyone that currently has these: Are your rear speakers as powerful as the front 2? My rear speakers are barely audible and the right one is defective completely...need some input thx
 
Sure you have it set to 5.1 speakers in the control panel? And if you have an audigy 2, run the speaker calibrator. My set's got equal output between the fronts and backs...
 
I got them and I love them, if your not trying to spend more than like 50$ i'd get them..
