logitech x-530 headphone jack problem

i have logitech x-530 for several years, couldn't be any happier with the sound. past few days, the headphone jack input isn't working properly, to be specific when i put in the headphone i am only able to listen to sound from the left ear set on the headphone, I have checked the headphone with an mp3 player but it works on both side. i was wondering if anyone know what the prob could be? i hope its not damaged
