im trying to decide on wheather to get the logitech Z-5300 5.1 surround 280 watt surrond sys or the Z-560 4.1 surround 400 watt sys, both are thx certified (i know that if there not then i shouldent even consider them at least from my experencie)

Depends on your needs. The Z-560s has more power, but you're missing the center channel.

You should go listen to a set of them and decide for yourself.

:D

Klipsch are way overpriced and the current models don't sound anywhere near as good as the Logi's. The old ones were nice but the new models suck. And a 10" Klipsch sub for $350? Umm nope.

i have a 4.1 klipsch promedia thx setup i found at circuit city on clearance

things work like a champ and sound alot better then the logitechs i compared them to and almost bought

The Logitech's are alright, although the sub leans towards boomy and the supplied cables are a joke (z680) if they're being honest about the power (which they're not but anyway).

If you need 5.1 in a smart little setup however they're not a bad deal, but don't pay full retail on these systems, you can get them quite a bit cheaper.
