I recently purchased a laptop that will have internal bluetooth capabilities (the laptop doesn't arrive for another week.)

My question is: If I buy a MX900 so I can have a wireless mouse, do I have to use the base station or am I able to use the internal bluetooth? I don't want to set up the base station each time I want to use the mouse.,

Any help is appreciated.
