I got it on my bday...

I then let it recharge by putting the mouse in the cradle, so today i finally plugged it in...

I installed the software first... and let it recharge for a day.. there is red laser light on the bottom, the computer detect it and said battery is good and found the mouse... but I can't move the cursors on the screen at all.. whats going on?!!?!?!?
 
Have you synced it with the cradle? Press the connect button on the cradle, then press the connect button on the mouse.

Other things: what kind of surface are you using the mouse on? It really hates reflective surfaces, so try to use it on something else if that's the case.

I don't even bother installing the software. The only thing that doesn't work in Windows when you don't install the software is the Show Desktop button on the mouse, and it doesn't bother me.
 
Do you absolutely need wireless? The MX510 actually has more megapixel's 5.8 compared to 4.7.... Just a suggestion :)

He already has it, so that doesn't help much. All I can think of is connecting it to the base as stated above. Or uninstall and just set it up from windows (dont install software)
 
Try moving the base to a different place on the desk. There may be interference from another device.
 
I used to have the Logitech Cordless MX Duo which comes with the MX700 & when I first got it I put the base station right next to my monitor and I got all kinds of interference so I put it on top of my book case on the desk and it works much better.

Also, if you have the base station too close to the mouse that can cause some problems too.

Try moving the base station to different parts of your desk to see where it works best.
 
I tried everything...

what you mean by sync with the base and the mouse?? I press the connect button on the cradle... there are no connect button on the mouse tho.. :confused:

the light on the mouse keeps blinking green... for some reason.. :confused:
 
The connect button is on the underside of the mouse...next to the batter door. It's white.
 
when you press the connect button on the cradle it should tell you that you need to press the button on the bottom of the mouse. It should then change the frequency that the devices communicate on, thereby eliminating and interference that may be causing the problem.
