I picked one up recently, part of a MX combo set. It works great for the most part however every once in a while when i boot up i dont get any response from the mouse. If i unplug it and plug it back it it works again but i'm tired of having to do that. Anyone else experiance this problem and have any solution?

I've had that happen on past systems with wired mice. Always turned out to be the USB drivers for the motherboard.

Have you tested the mouse in a different port. Could be a faulty port. Also, you could go to device manager and uncheck the power down selection of the USB Controller in properties. I also read somewhere that some people suggest deselcting "allow this device to wake from standby" too. This may not be related, but disable any ports you don't use like the serial ports and maybe printer port if you use a USB connection to print.
