So I just bought a used Logitech MX700 mouse, and it came without batteries (and without manual)... Basically, I'm not sure what batteries I need to get for it. Could someone with the retail batteries post the statistics on theirs? (voltage, type, etc...)
 
i dont have the MX700....but doesnt it just use simple rechargable AA batteries at 1.5 Volts?
 
The retail batteries at AA sized Rechargable NiMH. 1600mAh capacity at 1.2v.

They are very common batteries, many large deprtment stores should have them and any electronics store will.

You don't have to get 1600mAh capacity batteries though. It will work fine with up 2200mAh batteries. Though the higher capacity will take longer to reach full charge.

Just make sure you get NiMH batteries! Not NiCad or rechargable Alkalines!
 
Okay, great... I had some of those laying around. :D

As soon as they get charged up, I'll get to enjoy using the MX700. Woo!
 
im using Energizer 2100mAh batteries and last for a whole week with about 4-5 hours of usage each day.

Ditto here. I bought a BUNCH of these when Wal Mart mis-marked them. They also work great for portable cd players (about 200 hours :cool: ), cameras, mp3, etc.

200 hours on a single charge?! My Minidisc would go 14+ weeks non stop with those...

Same here. Retail they come with 1700mAh Batteries.

Minidisc player requires less power to spin a MiniDisc then a full cd. :)

I use 2100 mAh energizers, I think if I remember right when I tested them they lasted around 6 days, of course your usage will vary

Well thats odd.....


The MX700 I got for my work computer came with yellow BYD 1600mAh batteries.

I just checked the one on my main system at home and it came with blue BYD 1800mAh batteries.

Seems Logitech is not using the same batteries in all of their MX700s.....

Interesting, just checked mine and it has blue 1700mah BYD nimh's.
 
those 2100mAh batteries are way above the rating for the charger

I replaced my batteries with the rayovac. They're lasting 2-3 days with pretty heavy use
