Hi, my 3 yr old MS Natural Keyboard Pro died on me about 3 weeks ago, so I picked up the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro to replace it. It does come with a mouse, but I love the feel and shape of my MX700. So, at first I thought everything was good because both were working just fine, but then I noticed something odd. I went to click on a different window, and it wasn't made the active window. Tried doing the same thing by clikcing on the task bar on the bottom. I ended up hitting a couple of keys on keyboard, and then the mouse worked fine again after that.
So, it seems that the mouse and keyboard are interferring with each other every now and then, and the only way I can get both to work at the same time is by pressing a keyboard button once or twice. I have the reciever for the keyboard on the left side of the montior, (if you are facing the monitor) and the crade/reciever for the MX700 on the right hand side. I looked at Logitech's site and there's only two channels for the MX700 mouse. I haven't found any listings of what channels the keyboard uses. Should I try to sepearte the two recievers more? Or should I look into the MX900 since it's bluetooth, or should I use the mouse that came with it (ugg....). The reason I went with this keyboard was becuase it had the Natural split in it, and normal arrrow keys. Any other advice would be great.
