Is the mouse worth getting? I've read reviews and stuff, and from what I've read I'm going to buy it in the morning...

Can anyone give me a reason NOT to buy it? It will be an upgrade from a Microsoft Intellimouse w/Ball. Is there any major glitches that i should not buy this mouse because of, or is it all good?

And a question for owners: Can it be used in the LEFT hand? I broke my right hand, and my cast is all funky, so I can't mouse for long, and I wish to use my left for some mousing.

I have it, wonderful mouse. The mouse itself is shaped for right-handed people so using lefty wont be easy,
 
I am currently using this mouse right as we speak and I must say it is the best mouse I have ever used. However regarding your "can it be used with your left hand" question, unfortunately it would it incredibly akward to use that way. A good mouse for you would be an other style Microsoft mouse with the page forward/back buttons on each side.
