- Notice that while scrolling in IE6 (WinXP SP2) that both the Favorites and the actual webpage would scroll at the same time.
- There's a slight "hiccup" in response that'll move a half inch or so down from where it should have been randomly. (happens mainly while fps gaming)
As far as performance, it is identical to the MX700 during transmission, since it transmits using the same 'FastRF' technology. No lag, no skipping, and now hyper accurate."
Ugly_Jim said:That worried me. there IS lag and there IS skipping. Not a lot of it, but it's still noticable when compared to a good corded optical mouse. :-/ What the hell does accuracy matter at this point? I'm looking to replace my mx700, but I'll have to try the mx1000 out before I buy it.
When I bought my MX700, I wasn't sure, but I thought it was a LITTLE choppier and laggier than my previous corded MS optical mouse. I used the MX700 for a few months, but one day my batteries ran out and I wanted to keep playing this game, so I whipped out my 3 button MS optical mouse. It was incredibly smooth and responsive compared to the MX700. The improvement in my ut2k4 aim was almost unbelievable. I'm still using the MX700 because of the buttons. I can't live withouth the back/forward buttons now, and I make use of the three buttons by the wheel, too.
I'm praying for a corded version.
