Logitech mx duo problem

Does anyone know like a secret to get these things to start working.

I had recently unplugged my usb keyboard thing and then it stopped working, rebooted and now i cant get either the mouse or the keyboard to start working again. I put in new batteries in the keyboard but it just wont connect.

have you tried pressing the connect button on your keyboard, and on your mouse, and on the receiver's also? for me wire placement meant alot. i had to move the wires away from large metal things like my case etc before i get good signals.

I've had the most luck with using the PS2 connections over the USB. make sure they're both plugged in all the way as I've had that problem a lot with the keyboard PS2 deally coming out just a little and it not working and then reboot and hit the connect buttons in this order (as is shown on the bottom of the receiver)
receiver
keyboard
receiver
mouse
and hopefully you'll be back up. though I have had similar troubles with mine once or twice in the past they're usually fixed by a reboot.

well i figured it out, using a wired keyboard and usb mouse i got into windows and it told me that there had been a driver problem, so i reinstalled the driver and bam! they both worked again.
The most frustrating part of the whole ordeal was the inablilty to boot into windows and my hunt for a stupid wired keyboard.

i have an mx duo setup and i only get problems like that when im using the ps/2 conections, to fix it i just put it on usb and then back on ps/2 and it works fine, try swithing your connections.
