been using one for about 6 months now and i have no complaints.
+Tracks very well
+On the fly dpi adjustments is nice
+Changeable grips
+Adjustable weights

Wireless mice in my past have NOT worked well for gaming... I would be in the middle of a battle then all of a sudden I am looking at the sky. Now if you are using them at home or at the office great. My experience with wireless gaming is not ideal for me, maybe different for you.
 
While the G9 by itself is hands down the best mouse i have ever owned, the biggest advantage to it by far is the removable grips.

Replacement grips are only $5 from logitechs website!!! Once the surface of the mouse wears out, starts looking shitty, and is due for replacement, you simply buy a new grip and for $5 you have pretty much a new mouse.

Never had that prob with any wireless mice, or even drop outs. plus I love the freedom of not having a cord weight u down...and it does...for me atleast.
 
Guys, he's asking about the g9, not asking "what mouse do I buy" not "should I get an mx518"
an mx518 is old now, it's outdated. Move on.
G9 is awesome OP, lots of people like it. The other mouse to consider is the G5 if you have larger hands.
