Logitech mouse software

ok, this is one of the Biggest complaints i have out of software.

Why doesnt logitech make PROFILES for the mouse software.

its great to have a mouse with lots of buttons, but its pointless if they cant be assigned in game. if there was a simple profile you could setup, you would be angle to button to keys or something else and then be able to play various games. many games wont detect the defualt buttons. aargghh. its so irrittating using this mouse.

I can assign stuff to my back and forward buttons, that doesnt say they work all the time... sometimes if I get an aim message in the background that doesnt steal focus I lose the use of those buttons in game.
