I have a Logitech Internet Chat headset. It is my second. I got it (and the first one) because it was pretty cheap, at about 10 dollars, and was from a very good company.

The first one I got fell apart within weeks. At first, the sound from the left side would drop out at random times, then eventually there was no sound whatsoever on that side. Then, the little plate over the left-side speaker fell off, revealing that one of the wires that had been soldered to the speaker had torn itself free! :eek:

I thought that I just got a lemon, because Logitech was, in my mind, a good company.

This one, I have had since May. It's been working well since then, however just today I noticed the left side sound dropping out... :mad:

So what's up? Did I just have bad luck with both units, or are they all built poorly?
 
you get what you pay for. logitech isn't a bad brand.....but they do have some low end stuff that obviously won't be built as well. Instead of buying more of those headsets, invest in a Plantronics Audio 90 or Sennheiser PC130 or PC150 headset. It'll much more worth your cash.
