Logitech G500 Replacement (Slightly Smaller)

I'm looking for a replacement for my G500. It's been wigging out on me from time to time lately, and I think the sensor might be failing. Normally, I'd just get the same thing (this mouse has done me good service for the past 4 years), but I've always thought it was just slightly too big for my hand.

I wear a small glove (to give you a picture of my hand size), so I sometimes get cramps from stretching my hand around the mouse after a while. The biggest dimension that bugs me is the height, if that helps at all. The width and length are fine (I could do with a pinky rest sort of thing ala Mionix Naos), but the arch is what causes the most discomfort.

I'd also like something with at least 9 buttons, as I use every one on the G500 (L, R, dpi up/down, scroll wheel, scroll wheel click, all 3 thumb buttons).

So far, I haven't had much luck finding something that matches all of these requirements. The G700 is even bigger than the G500, the Naga has gotten terrible reviews on comfort, the Kone+ comes close, but I don't like that I have to dedicate a button as a "shift" key, and it seems like everything else has at least one fewer button than the G500. Am I just going to have to settle for less buttons or tough it out with a slightly too big mouse, or is there some other option that I'm missing?

Well I have a coolermaster Inferno and love it, used to have an MX518, got this to replace it, am far more then happy with it, worth looking at, the other one Logitech replaced MX518 aka G400 seems ok as well, thing I like about the Inferno, way more dpi, far more customizable, has a few different presets, more buttons, and most important to me was just built overall better, especially the mouse skates, Logitech tends to use soft slick skates that I have noticed also tend to wear out fairly fast, the skates on my inferno in 2+years have not worn down at all heavy gaming 14+ hours per day nearly 7 days a week, the button clicks are also I find a little more solid with the 518 after awhile I noticed the left click get "looser" have not had this issue as of yet with this one.
