I recently purchased a G27 (was on a small sale) to check it out. Since I couldn't find any pictures of the hardware online I thought I'd post some up here for others to see.

How much did you pay for the G27? Why would you destroy it??

Paid 269.99$CAD.

It's not destroyed lol... I put it back together.

I just wanted to see if it was well built and it's pretty solid. Proper bracing for the wheel shaft, it's got no play in axial or radial directions. Only some play on circular motions, I confirmed it's between the motor gears and the main wheel gear. It's not a lot of play but I couldn't make it go away by re-seating the motors closer together on their support plate.
