Logitech Duo Mx Problems

Hey all,

I just purchased and set up a Logitech Duo Mx setup (logitech elite cordless keyboard and cordless MX700 mouse) and tried it out in a few games and noticed that the performance is bad. It was most noticable in DX Invisible war (the only other game i tried was Farcry). When moving around using just the keyboard it seems fairly normal, but as soon as i use the mouse it has terrible lag. Meanwhile, the mouse seems to track really well in windows.

Any ideas ?

in DX invisible war make sure you have applied the latest patch, it fixes mouse movement problems, and make sure you have the latest drivers from logitech, Farcy i have no idea

No dice with new drivers. Even tried with my old mouse (microsoft optical) in there and that was slow aswell. As far as i know, nothing has changed EXCEPT for adding the new keyboard/mouse combo. I was away for two weeks and came back which is when i purchased the Logitech MX Duo. Any ideas on how to find what the problem is (system outlined below) ?

System:
AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8T800 Neo
Sapphire Radeon 9700pro
Seagate 120GB SATA
Logitech MX Duo

PS: Have DX 1.2 patch

Update: Tried reinstalling DX and it didnt change anything. Even lower resolutions didnt make a difference (still runs well when not using mouse and unplayable whenever mouse is moved). It used to work fine :(. UT2004 seemed to work fine though.

Im out of ideas.
